What We Do
IAFF Local 1710 was Established on 8-2-1962. We negotiate with the city on behalf of our members, support our local community and represent our union to the PFFM and IAFF.

The Chicopee Firefighters of the E-Board, Directors and Committee members come from all corners of our body and work to uphold all our rights and benefits.
Who We Represent
We represent all Chicopee Firefighters from Private to Deputy Chief. We also honor our past members from over the last 60 years.

If you haven't heard already, proctors never showed up at one of the two sites where CFD's Lieutenants were taking the Captain's test. It cannot be expressed how frustrating it is for our members who have dedicated so much time and effort into this process. Chief Stamborski is looking into solutions to this and the PFFM is investigating (letter attached).
